Top 10 Across The Spider-Verse characters

Who are my top 10 Spider-verse characters?

There are many cameos and standout characters in the amazing film, Across The Spider-Verse, which has been out since the start of June, but who was the best? This my personal list of favourites below:

10. Scarlet Spider had limited lines, yet he was very funny for the short time he had.

9. Spider Woman looked cool with her motorcycle. The scene at the start with the lengthy Vulture fight and Jess taking Gwen in as an apprentice showed how much she cared compared to Miguel.

8. Jefferson Morales, Miles Morales' dad, was funny by being a bit gullible. Him saying things to Spider-Man about Spot was funny and he was trying to do better with his family and trying to understand Miles more. He was a great character. Also, the scene when he called Gwen an emo had people dying of laughter.

7. The villain of the film, The Spot, had an incredible power-set and the scene in the middle of the film when he took Gwen, Spider-Punk, Miles and Indian Spider-Man was an extremely good fight scene and it showed a glimpse of his immense power.

Spot's dynamic with Miles was great, especially at the start of the film with him going on about being Miles' arch nemesis, but Miles dismisses him as the villain of the week, then it becomes clear how dangerous the antagonist is around the middle of the film when Spot became a multiversal threat.

6. Indian Spider-Man is a fan favourite and his voice acting is amazing. He would go from joking around one minute to being terrified and worried for his universe the next.

5. Peter B Parker. The mentor in the original film had less screen time than in Into The Spider-Verse, though he was still a good character. The film shows how much Miles changed him but he was still a jokester. He changed from being depressed to a proud father with renewed purpose.

4. Spider-Man 2099 was one of the best, strongst and most important characters of the film. His backstory was amazing, from his daughter's death to him trying his universe to stop Miles from destroying his.

3. Gwen was, again, a great character in the film. It showed how much she cared for Miles and didn't want her friend to get hurt. The start of the film showed plenty of emotion and chemistry between Miles and Gwen, it was a little sad to watch when Miles couldn't trust her.

2. Spider Punk was an extremely good addition to the film, whilst having limited screen time. He was funny and his animation was top tier, the fact that he kept on changing animation styles every time he was on screen was super cool. Even Miles mentioned to his face how cool he was, plus he was a funny dude.

1. Miles Morales, Spider-Man. I loved the reveal of him being an anomaly and not supposed to be Spider-Man, it was sad to watch Miles lose his confidence when fighting Miguel, but he overtook it and escaped the Spider-Verse, which was such an incredible section of the film, being chased by hundreds, thousands of Spider-Man versions, and then outwitting them all.

Honourable mentions: Spectacular Spider-Man; Spider-Man PS4/Yuri; Web-Slinger
