Spider-Man vs Wolverine - Who wins and why?

Spider-Man vs Wolverine

This is an extremely hard match-up to preview.

Spider-Man has defeated Wolverine before, but the X-Men member wasn’t trying to kill him then.

Also known as James 'Logan' Howlett, Wolverine has the ability to chop down a tree in one swipe and throw it afterwards; he can self-heal his skin, nerves and organs, making him incredibly hard to kill; he has previously ran at speed with people on his back, even throwing them off too; once managed to hurl a great white shark very far away; and can speed-blitz an entire group of soldiers.

Spider-Man, on the other hand, has lifted up a 50 tonne tank; can pick up cars and even trains; held up a support beam for the Daily Bugle building; destroyed a Carbonadium foot-long tentacle (a resilient, radioactive metal, far stronger than steel); broke free of a robot hand which can hold and restrain Colossus; survives being thrown by Gladiator (a superman-level being) through a building; and has held up the weight of a train station before.

He casually swings around the streets of New York regularly, but his speed and spider senses able him to get around the entire city in less than an hour. He can even catch Daredevil, and can run faster than speeding cars.

In a fight to the death, Wolverine could win with his vaster experience - having fought in World War 1 and 2 - plus his greatest strength is his regeneration. It's hard to kill someone who just keeps healing and coming back again!

In a normal battle (not to the death), Spider-Man wins this fight 8/10 times because his webbing can hold Wolverine in place, plus he can dodge his attacks with ease and even hit harder than him.
