Thor: Love and Thunder review

What I thought of Thor 4

Thor: Love and Thunder was a great film so here is my review:

Firstly, I think it had a great villain and his motivation was clear and sympathetic as well. Gorr was an 8/10 and his origin story was also great. It wasn't his exact origin from the comic books but it was close enough.

Secondly, I didn't like how much comedy was in the start of the film, and the jokes weren't always that funny especially the constant screaming from Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, the goats, which became a bit tedious after a while.

Next, the CGI when Axel made a projection of himself was absolutely terrible, but the CGI in general was pretty great.

The plot was easy to follow, quite simple, but also took the viewer on a bit of journey from all the comedy at the start to a more serious, sadder climax to the film.

Personally, I would have liked to the God Bomb Saga comic book storyline more and since the multiverse is in chaos, it could have worked since Old King Thor and Young Thor were in the comic run.

Jane was a strong and likeable character in the film, and I liked how she could throw Mjolnir and it could split into several pieces but then come back together again whilst returning to Jane's hand.

Another thing I'd like to add is I don't like how Thor didn't really use his lightning force without Stormbreaker and was still getting humiliated with Stormbreaker when in Ragnorok and Infinity War he was taking on armies and winning.

Overall, I give Thor 4 a 7/10 and it could have been much better.

Spoilers ahead:

I did not like that they killed off Jane and Gorr though since Jane just gained her powers. If Gorr died, he would have came back to life with the Necrosword but, they destroyed the Necrosword so that can`t happen and it makes it impossible for Knull to join the MCU since that`s his main weapon.
