Sentry vs Thor: who wins and why?
Sentry and Thor have fought before, but Thor had the Avengers helping him and Sentry had become The Void.
Sentry may have lifted the Heli carrier, but Thor was able to lift Asgard (with help from Beta Ray Bill).
Using the power of a billion exploding suns, the Sentry showed off his power and fought on par with Green Scar Hulk (an even angrier and stronger version of Hulk), and he almost destroyed a city with his power, so he has more power.
Thor has more attack potency since he has knocked Knull's jaw off and briefly fought him, however, Sentry was killed quickly when faced with Knull.
Both of the characters are fast, but Sentry is much faster than Thor, flying to the sun in seconds.
Sentry is smarter than Thor and he has a genius intellect, not on Tony Stark or Reed Richard's level, however it has been stated that he is very smart.
Thor's durability is much higher as he has survived being stabbed by the necrosword, he has taken hits from Mjionir and he tanked the God Bomb which can kill every god in history.
The God Of Thunder is a better fighter and has more experience, he has fought and trained for thousands of years.
In conclusion, Thor would win in a tough fight.
