Obviously, there are spoilers ahead, so watch out.
At the end of Episode 4, we are shown that the main antagonist Moff Giddeon, one of the last commanders of the fallen Empire, has escaped prison, and evidence suggests the breakout was engineered by Mandalorians, with traces of Beskar on the abandoned ship.
There could be two different groups responsible for this prison break. Group one is the obvious group, Imperials could have broke him out since he's their old leader, they would have planted Beskar there to confuse people and frame the Mandalorians, to get their opponents out of the way.
The other group would be actual Mandalorians, specifically Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian warrior. We already got treated to a small teaser with the appearance of Zeb, one of the old Rebels, but Sabine Wren was in love with Ezra (a Jedi padawan), who sacrificed himself to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn, that's when Ahsoka Tano shows up as well. Ahsoka was looking for Thrawn (Thrawn is a high ranking Imperial officer at this time) in season 2, they could team up to find Thrawn and Ezra. The only thing here is how Sabine and Ahsoka both wouldn't do that, they aren't the type of people to kill Rebels. Also, this could lead to the Ahsoka series, with Commander Rex (a clone from the Clone Wars show), Sabine and hopefully Mando.
Finally, Sabine also links to the future of The Mandalorian series since she's a Mandalorian and Bo Katan is searching for more of her kin to add to her tribe, suggesting any remaining Mandalorians will show up.
That's all my theories for season 3, so far,
