Before he turned into The Darkest Knight, he killed Bathattan (Bruce Wayne with Doctor Manhattan's powers).

Imagine how evil Joker alone is, well The Great Evil Beast is times a trillion times as evil! Every evil villain on this list is just a drop in an ocean compared to this overarching antagonist.
Also known as The Absence, he attacked light countless times; he caused Doctor Manhattan, Pariah and many other agents to cause a crisis countless times; he is the cause of all evil to ever exist.
Beings such as Darkseid, Mister Mind, Anti-Monitor and Superboy-Prime were all indirect creations of The Great Evil Beast.
