Who is the greater martial artist, The Heart of the Dragon, Iron Fist, or The Caped Crusader, Batman?
Both Batman and Iron Fist are extremely skilled fighters in their respective universes, however can Iron Fist defeat the Dark Knight in a one on one fight?
First is strength. This is a difficult category as Batman is physically stronger than Iron Fist, however Danny Rand has better striking strength, which matters more in this fight.
Second is an important category, skill. Both combatants are extremely skilled, however Batman takes the edge on skill. He mastered every martial art on Earth, he has studied martial arts from other planets, such as Krypton martial arts, he has also created 20 martial arts of his own using a combination of all the martial arts he knows.
Batman is also faster than Iron Fist. He has reacted to and hit Amazo Flash (a robot with Flash's speed), Reverse Flash and Flash on separate occasions. He has also dodged bullets from machine guns, meaning he is much faster.
Durability is also key in this fight, since if Batman cannot survive hits from Iron Fist, he would lose, however Batman is extremely durable, he has tanked hits from Damage who has drawn blood from Superman. Batman has also tanked hits from a mind controlled Wonder Woman and walked off with minimal damage.
In this battle, Batman is also smarter and has better battle IQ. He is constantly thinking about the next move his opponent makes and studies them mid battle, meaning he would determine Iron Fist's fighting style during their fight.
On the other hand, Iron Fist has better powers and abilities. He has destroyed a turbine of the Helicarrier with one singular punch, and he has been able to knock down heavy hitters with his punches.
Gear is another category which goes to Batman. He has shock gauntlets which can knock down Superman, and he also has a range of other devices like soundwaves that can knock out ordinary people, and foam that can temporarily hold Failsafe, or nth metal batarangs which can cut beings that are pure energy.
Overall, Iron Fist is a tough opponent, but Batman wins because of all of his gear and his other stats being better than Iron Fist, like his speed and durability. In conclusion, Batman wins 7 out of 10 times.
