In a new DC event named Absolute Power, Amanda Waller has used the tech from Failsafe's Amazo robots (androids made to gain the power of whatever hero is nearby) and multiple other advanced AI from Braniac's ship to defeat and lock up any metahuman. In addition to this, Amanda Waller has also used AI to frame heroes for killing many people. Multiple members of the Justice League have been de-powered with many members of the Justice Society are in prison. We can also see some villains working with Waller like King Shark. In addition to this, Green Arrow and Dreamer are working for Amanda Waller, so is Superboy, who is under mind control because of Braniac Queen.
There are multiple spin offs of Absolute Power, one of them that could have extremely high significance in later comics, like the Green Lantern spin off with an Amazo robot (meant for defeating Green Lantern's) gaining consciousness, meaning it could turn on Amanda Waller, another spin off is with Wonder Woman and Damian Wayne interrogating Captain Boomerang, there are multiple others like Superman and Zattana looking for a map which could turn the tide in their favor or Batman and Catwoman looking for information for the superhuman prison.
