Can Iron Man's intelligence defeat Cable?
Firstly, Iron Man is much smarter than Cable in every way.
Cable has much better powers than Iron Man, he was able to fight Silver Surfer whilst holding up a huge piece of land. He has also used telekinesis to send S.W.O.R.D station (a giant facility) out of Earth's gravity.
Iron Man is fast as he can fly to space in short durations of time and also exceed Mach 5, but Cable reacted to Silver Surfer and fought at his speed.
Stark's weapons are also superior, his suit contains missiles, arc reactors, armor and more.
Cable and Iron Man have good durability, Iron Man took a lightning bolt from an angry Thor and Cable has tanked hits from Silver Surfer, Colossus and Hulk.
Cable has higher attack potency since he has knocked out Hulk, he beat Stryfe (a mutant who can fight on par with Cable) who was powered up by Apocalypse, sent Hulk flying, staggers and sends Apocalypse flying and even almost kills Apocalypse.
Finally, Cable is stronger since he overpowered Colossus and was able to match Apocalypse in strength.
In conclusion, without the Techno Organic virus, this is a mismatch as Cable destroys Stark. With the Techno Organic Virus however, it is a much closer fight, but Cable wins.
