Ranking all DCEU movies

What is my ranking of the DC Extended Universe?

Since the DCEU is sadly coming to an end, I have decided to rank their movies in order of worst to best. There is quite a gulf between no.14 on my list and no.1! See below:

14. Wonder Woman 1984. The movie was flawed, from the villain being bland and normal, not villainous and scary in any way, to everyone rejecting their wish at the end of the film because Wonder Woman told them to.

13. The original Suicide Squad from 2016 had some good action in it, but involved a villain that was, again, very boring, it had no point. I also though the Joker was bad compared to previous ones, and Enchantress was just not menacing enough.

12. Shazam: Fury Of The Gods was a movie that wasn't bad, it just had nothing that good, except for the emotions and special effects. One complaint was how there was an advert for skittles going on during an apocalypse. There were some good characters, however.

11. A movie that was too fast-paced, Justice League 2017. There was very little character development for the League, but it did contain a lot of good action, CGI and acting.

10. Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice was decent, the fight against Doomsday and the Batman vs Superman fight to begin with was great, and Wonder Woman was a great, surprise addition to the film and universe.

9. Black Adam, a film that had very good CGI, awesome characters, such as Doctor Fate, lots of fight action; almost everything was good, but not excellent. Also, the villain wasn't fearsome or inspiring enough. Doctor Fate was great, but was killed too easily, in my opinion.

8. The first film, Shazam, was much better than the sequel, I believe. The characters, acting, action and emotions, like Billy's sad backstory, desperation to find his mum who he then discovers rejected him, to watching him maturing and loving his new family of misfits.

7. The emotions in this film were great, however, the special effects made The Flash, hard to watch. Micheal Keaton's return as Batman and the introduction of Superwoman were great, but the villain was reused from Man of Steel, and the other antagonist had no screen time. It should have been a copy and paste of The Flashpoint Paradox storyline.

6. In Aquaman, there was potential in Black Manta, so I'm glad they introduced him but saved him for the next film - Aquaman 2 - and gave Ocean Master the spot as the main villain. The movie was decent and Jason Mamoa is a good casting for Aquaman.

5. The first Wonder Woman was a good film, but the villain, again, had barely any screen time at all, only appearing right at the end in a plot twist. The other characters involved were good, such as the small army of troops that assisted her through the war. The movie was good, it was a solid film, and there was nice a bit of comedy, plenty of action and an interesting storyline.

4. This film is very long, but Zack Snyder's Justice League had amazing action, atmosphere, iconic scenes, character development, and even though Cyborg and Flash had no previous films, they were great characters and introductions to the DCEU.

3. One of the most recent films, Blue Beetle, was amazing, due to the great suits, comedy, CGI, action, characters, and the storyline was all great. It was perfectly paced and had a fantastic cliff-hanger.

2. The Suicide Squad. The movie had great comedy - just enough, not too much, fun characters, lots of action; there are no real flaws to pick from in this movie other than Captain Boomerang being killed off so quickly within the first 30 minutes. But that kind of set the tone that no one is safe, so it kept you gripped throughout.

1. Man of Steel takes the top spot, deservedly. The music, visuals, casting, protagonist, antagonist, fights, story... just everything was amazing. There were some great reminders and parallels from Superman 2, released in 1980, but brought up to date. Plus, the casting was perfect, from Henry Cavill as Superman, to Kevin Costner as his earthly father, Diane Lane as his mother, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, even Laurence Fishburne as Perry was great, despite such a small role. 10/10 film!
