What will episodes five and six bring?
Obi-Wan Kenobi has been an amazing series so far, but here’s who I want to see added to the plot.
Alert: Spoilers ahead!
The miniseries is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Vader has turned to the dark side, the Jedi Order has fallen, and any remaining Jedi of force-sensitives are scattered across the galaxy in hiding from the Empire, ruled by Sith Lord Darth Sidious, known to all as Emperor Palpatine.
The first four episodes so far have seen Luke Skywalker as a young boy on Tatooine living with his uncle Owen Lars, watched closely in the shadows by Obi-Wan Kenobi. When Princess Leia is kidnapped by the obsessive Third Sister Reva, in an attempt to draw Kenobi out of hiding, Senator Bail Organa pleads to his old friend to rescue her. Kenobi reluctantly obliges and succeeds momentarily until a fateful showdown with his old Padawan ensues, which sees the powerful Sith attempt to burn his old master alive, until he was rescued at the brink of certain death by Tala. Reva holds Leia captive on Fortress Inquisitorius, which is where the entire fourth episode is set. Kenobi and Tala pull off the rescue and escape with their Jabiim friends, losing a pilot in the process.
So, just episodes five and six left, who could likely return to surprise us? This is who I would like to see:
Firstly, Assajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos were already teased in episode three, so it would be good to see them both appear. Both were bi characters who had lots of interaction with Obi-Wan during the Clone Wars.
Ahsoka Tano is a good friend to Kenobi and she survived Order 66. She has already appeared in The Mandalorian and Book of Bobba Fett so the audience have been formally introduced already.
Thirdly, Yoda and Kenobi were both members of the Jedi and teammates in the Clone Wars and saw each other soon after Order 66. They each went their separate ways to train to learn the secret to immortality as a Force Spirit, so they must be in contact with each other still.
On that note, could we be treated to an appearance from Qui-Gon Jinn to aid his former Padawan?
Next, another character I want is some of the surviving Jedi of Order 66, who haven't yet been hunted by the Inquisitors, and emerge from the shadows to help their old General.
Some clones who resisted Order 66, like the Bad Batch or Captain Rex, would be fun to see also.
Finally, Emperor Palpatine is really powerful and he would make a good cameo. Darth Vader is in it, so it would make sense for his master appear at some point.
