Ahead of the release of Doctor Strange 2, CBB have put together 10 fun facts about the 'Sorcerer Supreme' Stephen Strange:

10. Since the death of his mentor, the Ancient One, back in 1973, Stephen Strange has held the title of the Sorcerer Supreme. The title essentially means that he is a magical being with greater skills than all other practitioners in any world or dimension. 

9. He co-founded The Defenders, consisting of himself, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Namor.

8. He wields the power of many mystical artifacts, such as the Eye of Agamotto, a light which can negate evil; the Book of Vishanti, containing knowledge of all magic; the Cloak of Levitation, which allows him to fly; the Orb of Agamotto, a crystal ball.

7. He lives in the Sanctum Sanctorum, 177A Bleeker Street, Manhattan, New York.

6. Stephen was a top neurosurgeon with the steadiest hands until a car crash in 1963 crushed the tools of his trade beyond repair. The fallen doctor, known for being narcistic and self-absorbed, voyaged on a journey of discovery to Tibet where he was trained by the Ancient One and discovered a new sense of purpose.

5. He was born to parents Eugene and Beverly Strange in November 1930. He has a younger sister called Donna, who tragically died as a teenager while swimming.

4. His greatest enemies are Baron Mordo and Dormammu.

3. Loki once managed to trick Strange into fighting Thor, but the treachery was soon exposed and Strange turned against Loki. Despite this, Thor later saved Strange's life by operating on him, in the guise of Dr. Donald Blake, after a battle with Mordo.

2. His fridge is possessed by the demons inside it.

1. He created an Academy, which contained Dorm Dormammu (his greatest enemy, Dormammu’s son).

Bonus Fact: Doctor Strange can't eat human food so instead he needs to eat demons and magical beings.
