Dr. Doom vs Magneto - Who wins and why?
Both are extremely powerful villains, and each regularly fight against powerful teams - Doom fights the Fantastic Four and Magneto matches the X-Men.
Some people say Magneto wins because he can crush Doom in his own armour but, Doom has a built-in force field which blocks his powers.
So let’s go through their feats...
Magneto has levelled a mountain, killed Red Skull, crushed Iron Man using a tower, resisted Rogue's powers, turned Proteus (an omega-level mutant) into pure energy, dampens an earthquake, survived a nuclear blast, destroyed an entire city and tore Apocalypse (an omega-level mutant) apart.
Doom, however, has resisted Purple Man's powers, trapped the Fantastic Four and Dr Strange, channelled the life force of the universe, absorbed the Beyonder's powers twice (a being who is many times more powerful than all the multiverse combined), stole Galactus’s powers three times, stole Silver Surfer’s powers twice and, finally, became the Sorcerer Supreme.
Magneto cam level a city and throw chunks of metal at Doom but he can blast, teleport and punch his way out of it. His magical spell - The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak - can hold Magneto and he can finish him off.
Doom takes it 9/10 times and the only time he loses is possibly without his armour, which is rare.
