Shazam is an incredibly powerful character, who used to be called Captain Marvel, so can he reclaim his title from Carol Danvers?
Shazam has helped to lift the book of infinite pages, moved planets, and he has also fought on par with Superman in terms of strength, so he is stronger than Captain Marvel.
