The Invincible Iron Man vs The Master of Magnetism; who will come out on top?
This might may seem obvious, since Magneto can control metal and Iron Man's suit is metal, however that is not the case and it has not been the case for around a decade. Iron Man's suit is resistant to Magneto's powers as he uses nanoparticles, so who wins this fight?
Magneto has incredible strength with his magnetism powers, and Iron Man has incredible physical strength. Magneto can lift structures that Iron Man cannot with his magnetism, therefore he is stronger.
Iron Man is much faster than Magneto, since he can escape the event horizon of a black hole with his model 42 armour.
Magneto has impressive powers and abilities, however everything he can do, Iron Man can do on a lower scale, and Iron Man has more abilities. For example, in a fight they previously had, Magneto has reversed the Earth's magnetic poles and hit Iron Man with it, only for Iron Man to deflect it back at him. Iron Man also has more powers due to his suit.
Both of them are durable, with Magneto's force field and Iron Man's suit, they are evenly matched in this situation. Magneto's force field has tanked the Earth's magnetic poles being hit at him, and Iron Man has tanked hits from adamantium without a scratch, in fact, adamantium bent when hitting his mysterium armour.
The two characters are evenly matched so far, however, Iron Man's intelligence greatly exceeds Magneto's. Iron Man has a highly advanced AI system built into his suit, meaning he can easily multitask.
Overall, the winner of this fight is Iron Man. Whilst Magneto would beat some early Iron Man armors, he would not defeat a variety of armors, like model 42, model 70, mysterium (model 72), model prime and a few other suits. Overall, if Iron Man is using one of the armors previously mentioned, he should win 6-8 times out of 10 depending on the armor.
