Superman 2025 review: spoilers ahead

Review about Superman 2025; was it good? Spoilers ahead

To start off, there was a very good plot in the film. It was action packed and there was a great mix of Clark Kent and Superman. The Boravia subplot was great and the way the film tied up all the subplots made sure there was no loose ends. Ultraman/the Hammer of Boravia being the same character was cool, but obvious, and the plot twist of Ultraman being a Superman clone was great, the pocket universe prison was a great way to show Lex Luther's intellect.

The characters:
There was a wide range of characters, from the Daily Planet team to the Justice Gang.
David Corenswet as Superman was the star of the show, his acting was amazing and he could play both a happy character and serious character.
Nicholas Holt gave an incredible performance as Lex Luther and the fact that he did everything in that film just to paint Superman as the villain was a good, comic accurate version of his character.
The introduction of the Justice Gang was fantastic and the Justice Gang vs the Boravian Military was a cool fight, especially since we saw the arrogant way Guy Gardner fights with his constructs, and Metamorpho in action for the first time.
Mister Terrific was also an amazing character in this film, he was comedic and his fight scene was arguably the best fight scene in the movie.
Some other great characters in the film was Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, who both got the most screen time out of the Daily Planet crew.

Extras
Mister Terrific's fight scene was amazing, and arguably the best fight scene in the entire film.
The CGI was great, there wasn't much flaws to the CGI.
Krypto was a cool addition to the film and it helped bring some humor.
The Supergirl teaser in the film helped to let us know what Supergirl would be like in her upcoming DC project.
My only costume complaint was the Green Lantern suit, since it didn't look comic accurate or like anything Guy would wear, however there was an explanation for it.
Another complaint was how Superman was defeated so easily by the Hammer of Boravia, he should have put up a little bit more of a fight, but it shows how unexperienced this new Superman is and how he's never fought anyone on his level before.

In conclusion, the film was amazing and easily a 9.5/10 and the best project DC has put out since The Batman.
