Carnage, Doctor Doom and Magneto as the Avengers!
When fighting Red Onslaught, the Avengers and X-Men and other characters were losing, so they decided to make Scarlet Witch use a spell to invert someone's moral compass, which would turn Red Onslaught into a hero, however the spell was messed up, so everyone around was turned either from villain to hero or hero to villain.
The most popular hero-turned-villain was Iron Man, who became the Superior Iron Man.
This Avengers lineup consists of the Master of Magnetism, Magneto, The Ruler of Latveria, Doctor Doom, the God of Mischief, Loki and other characters, including Jack O Lantern, Mystique, Amora the Enchantress, Sabretooth, Carnage-Man and Deadpool.
The most important character in this Astonishing Avengers team was Carnage, who, although being a hero, was still pretty bad. Carnage burnt down a bank so no one could rob it, however he was important because Carnage sacrificed himself to save the world from a bomb that the X-Men planted, which would kill anyone who wasn't a mutant.
Eventually, the team was disbanded due to the spell to invert people's moral compass wearing off, but some heroes weren't infected by the spell originally, Spider-Man and Daredevil were both operating as heroes during this time, although Daredevil had a bad time against Superior Iron Man, and Spider-Man had a tough time dealing with Carnage-Man's logic and way of saving people.
