The new Red Lantern in DC is a familiar face, he is a famous villain who transformed his previous yellow ring to a red ring, using his bottled-up rage alone.
Sinestro lost all his power from the yellow ring he used, he tried to spark it by attacking Earth, but Hal Jordan stopped him.
Green Lantern arrived at Sinestro's base, but he used his rage that he had kept in all those years to transform his yellow ring to emit fury.
Whilst fighting his enemy, Sinestro used abilities that other red lanterns like Atrocitus uses.
He unleashed a giant kaiju before flying away to space and escaping Hal.
