10 Facts you didn't know about the She-Hulk

Ahead of the forthcoming new She-Hulk series, played by actress Tatiana Maslany on Disney+, CBB decided to find out as many interesting facts about the new character joining the MCU as possible:

10. Born in LA, Jennifer Sue Walters is a graduate of the University of California and has a law degree. Becoming a lawyer wasn't her first choice growing up, she aspired to be a dancer, but her father didn't approve. She gave up on the dream after her mother was driving with some friends to watch one of her recitals and was hit by a car and killed.

9. She is the unofficial fifth member of the Fantastic Four.

8. She is the leader of the A-Force, an all-female team of Avengers consisting of Captain Marvel, Medusa, Dazzler and Nico Minoru.

7. She has broken the fourth wall in comic books, much like Deadpool. Readers of Marvel comic books have seen her interact with the writer and editorial team numerous times. She has even fired the narrator midway through a story for being useless! Luke Cage and Scott Lang were with her at the time, witnessing her talking to, from their perspective, absolutely nobody!

6. She inherited her powers from her cousin Bruce Banner. After being shot by a mobster, Nicholas Trask, who was also responsible for her mother's death, Bruce saved her with an emergency blood transfusion, which saw his gamma-irradiated blood mutate Jennifer into the She-Hulk. She actually died when she was shot, but the blood transfusion threw her into the 'Below-Place', where she was able to enter the metaphysical Green Door and come back to life. Despite not being as strong as the Hulk, Jen maintained her intelligence.

5. Just like her cousin, the Hulk, she is immune to telepathy. This is another similarity she shares with Deadpool.

4. She has the ability to transfer her mind into other bodies. Members of the Ovoid race taught her the mind transfer ability, which she has used to warn and save friends who have been located elsewhere.

3. She-Hulk acts as a magistrate to the Living Tribunal. A cosmic entity within the Marvel multiverse, his main objective is to rule on matters concerning the cosmic balance of all things. She-Hulk is one of a few delegates known as the Magistrati who rule on many matters concerning the wider cosmic order.

2. Exactly the same as her cousin, Hulk, she has her own 'Grey' persona. In her 'Grey' form, she has increased strength but decreased control over herself. She loses the ability to be as coherent and talks much like the Hulk in basic, broken speech.

1. She has taken on the Mad Titan Thanos in the past, where she took a missile to the chest and was critically injured during the confrontation. 

Bonus Fact: She once had a brief fling with Eros, known as Starfox, whos is the brother of Thanos!
